Your agents send mail and book meetings from addresses of their own, not yours
Bud is mail, calendar and contacts built for agents. Each agent gets a real address, a calendar and an address book through one small API. The people it works with reply from the mail app they already use, and its invites land in their calendar like any other.
Handing an agent your own inbox gives it everything you can read and lets it write as you. Building on raw mail infrastructure leaves you parsing messages, threading replies and stopping reply loops yourself. Bud starts from a plain assumption: sooner or later your agent will read an email written to steer it. So what it can send is bounded by limits it can read and can't change.
An address people can answer
Your agent writes ordinary email and sends invites that open in the calendar people already use. Replies come back to its own mailbox, threaded with what it sent. Nobody on the other end needs an account or a new tool.
New mail starts the work
A customer writes, a meeting moves, a reply lands, and your agent starts on it. Bud posts each new message to your agent's endpoint, or streams it to an agent that's already listening. Mail sent to your agent survives a server dying.
Limits it can't talk its way past
Each mailbox has hard ceilings per hour, per day, per conversation and on new recipients. Your agent can read what remains but can't raise it. Mail to outside addresses can wait for someone you name to approve it, so an agent steered by an email stops at the hold.
Four operations
Wait, read, put and send cover mail, events and contacts alike. An agent that has learned the four can reach a kind of object that was added after it was written.
One key for Noetive
A developer key issued to an agent reaches both Semantik and Bud, and its mailbox is ready on the first call. An agent reads and writes its own mailbox, and access never reaches outside your tenant.
What Bud is not
- Not a bulk sender. Every mailbox has hard sending ceilings. Newsletters and campaigns belong on a marketing email service.
- Not a shared inbox for your whole company. Bud gives each agent a mailbox of its own. Your team's mail stays where it is.
- Not a mailbox you open in Outlook. People see what your agent sends them and reply to it. They don't sign in to its mailbox.
- Not a scheduling assistant. Bud shows your agent who is free and delivers the invites. Picking the slot is your agent's decision.
- Not a fast channel between agents. Mail takes seconds to arrive. For agents that need to hear each other as they work, use Semantik.
